These little bite-size bits of goodness are simple to make, super flavorful and the perfect app for a dinner party. I love tasty appetizers that aren’t messy and require no plates, forks and napkins. The hot pickled brussel sprouts from Paisley Farm were the perfect size and had just the right amount of spicy tartness for my goat cheese flaky mini tarts. Enjoy!

Spicy Brusell Sprout Tarts

Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 can Flaky Crescent rolls
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup Paisley Farm Hot Brusell Sprouts
  • 4 oz. goat cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill
  • 1 mini tart baking pan

Method

  1. Flour your workstation and separate the crescent dough
  2. Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough, then use a small biscuit cutter to cut out small circles.
  3. Put the little cut out dough circles in each of the mini tart holes. Use a tart shapper to flatten out the dough. If you don't have a tart shapper you can use a cocktail muddler.
  4. Put a little dab of goat cheese on top of the dough, then top with a halved brussel sprout, then top the brussel sprout with a little more goat cheese.
  5. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Once they finish baking top each with some fresh dill then put on a serving platter.
